Hi ya!!!!

Well, hi! My post doesn't really have a subject, so I will be talking about many different things. First off, yesterday my family and I went to our grandparents house, Nana and Dedad. They're the best grandparents there could ever be!! I love them so much!!! So, at our grandparents house, Nana already had some food cooking, and we (us girls) helped with the rest. The food was so yummy!! We had okra, steak, potatos, rolls, slider sandwiches, lima beans, and I thinks that's all. Anyway, we had a fun time.

Last Friday, I went over to spend the night at my friend's Betsy Chambers house. Abby Sprayberry played their too, but didn't spend the night. So, here's what we did. First, Betsy showed her a attic clubhouse she found in her closet. We talked in their for a little bit, then we played the X-Box, then we played a type of charade game, after that, we drew some. After that Abby had to leave. Me and Betsy played uno attack in her attic clubhouse, after that, we got ready for bed, and watched Grammer Jammer, which is a movie her older brother is in. We had popcorn! YUM!! Right after the movie, we went to bed. In the morning, we got up before anyone else, (by accident) and played uno attack again. After everyone woke up, we ate breakfast and went to Betsy's basketball game. The two teams tied! We had a last game mini party with pizza, and cookie cake. YUM again!! After we got home, we (me and Betsy) played tea party, until my mommy came. Well caught up on most of the stuff over the weekend, and today it was just school, so.....

Coley's Birthday!!!!

Happy two day late Birthday Coley!!! Coley is my brother who just turned thirteen. He's the best thirteen year old brother in the world!! Anyway, for his birthday, which was on Wednesday, Betsy Chambers came over. We ran some errands, then we got back home and looked for a craft to do. Whoa!!! Sorry thunder just shook the house, not on Coley's Birthday, but right now. That was kind of scary..... Ok back to the subject, so me and Betsy thought of an idea. We will make Coley a homemade picture frame!!! This is how we made it. First, got a cardboard box, then we cut out the shape of a picture frame, next we cut a little square inside, then we painted white first on it before painting the final color so the cardboard doesn't show through. We let that dry, then we painted a lighter green, and thought it didn't look good, so we did a darker green. After that, we painted the back blue. While the paint was drying, we cut out some decorations for it, which was stars. We glued them on after the paint was dry, and there's how to make a homemade picture frame!!!


In the middle of making the picture frame, we stopped and rode scooters outside with Coley. And then after the making of the picture frame, we rode scooters for even longer. After that, we came inside and played Just Dance Kids on the X-Box. Then all of our (mine and Coley's) family, including Betsy went to a italian resturaunt called Carribias. YUM!!! Then the sad part came. Betsy had to go home. When we got home from Carribias, we ate cookie cake. YUM, again!!! Then Coley opened his Birthday cards. Well, that was most of the day!!

My Fun Day

Hello! Today was a great day!!! First, I woke up, ate breakfast, and started school. After I finished school, it was about 11:30, then I put my lunch in the oven and waited till it was done. When it was done, I ate it (of course), then my mom drove me to O.Y.P. That's Oconee Youth Playhouse. It's where we do acting games, songs, learn a play and preform it on a stage for our parents and friends. We are doing "Don't Count Your Chickens Until They Cry Wolf". It's alot of Aesop Fables put together. Today we got our parts. I'm a Ant, in the story where the ant works and stores up ood all winter, and the grasshopper just dances and sings,then when winter comes, the ants all warm underground with all her food, and the grasshopper is outside in the freezing cold. The other part that I am is a mouse in the story Belling the Cat, which you can look up. After O.Y.P.,
my friend Betsy Chambers came over and played until 5:30, then we took her to her basketball practice. When we got home, I started writing a story called "McKenna and Buttercup". I will try to remember to write about later, but I have to go to bed soon. Anyway, just telling you, tomorrow is Coley's birthday! He is turning 13!! I'm excited! Well, gotta go!

Rainbows

Rainbows are beautiful, and colorful. God made them to remind us, and promise us that he would never flood the whole earth again. When I see a rainbow, I get a happy feeling. The only bad thing is, rainbows don't come of that much. If you see them, you can barely see them. We draw and think of rain bows, bright with clouds on each side, but thats not the real thing of a rainbow. A rainbow is still bright, but you can faintly see it. That's also another bad part. Sometimes it's cool, like if you turned on a hose, or a sprinkler, than you might be able the see a tiny rainbow, right in the middle of the water. Now that's neat. Butterflies

Butterflies are amazing creatures. Each one of them are different in some sort of way. Not just by the way they look, or what color they are, but what their personality is and what things they call adventures. Many other things can make them different, and God made them that way.
My sister, Jess loves butterflies, and I do too. She especially loves them when their in the garden. Butterflies are also fun to watch fly. They are so beautiful. Butterflies are one of God's most amazing creatures. I think it's sad also when people catch butterflies, and put them behind the glass. Butterflies are meant to be free. Not that I mean you can't do that butterfly cage thing, and watch them crawl out of their cocoon. Now that's cool to watch. It's also fun to catch butterflies with your net, though also very hard. My Day

Today I started my day off with a granola bar and little reading in my room, then I took the puppies ouside for a little bit, fed the cats, and came inside. After that, me and my brother, Coley, played on the X-Box for a little bit, then we went down stairs and ate lunch. After lunch we (mommy, daddy, Coley and me) played bananagrams. It's sort of like scrabble. Then me and Coley played guess who for a little while. He beat me most of the time. The reason Jess and Josh aren't there, is because Josh is at a Christian boot camp, voleenteering to help in the kitchen. He has been gone six weeks, and will arrive home in two weeks. I miss him very much. The reason why Jess isn't there, is because she was at her friend's house, spending the weekend over there.


Anyway, back to the subject, after we finshed playing games, me and mommy, got ready for church. Daddy was staying home with Coley because he has a bad cough. Our church is sometimes in the evenings, and sometimes in the mornings. Today it was in the evenings. After church, our church has pot lucks, so we decided to stay. By the way, Jess met us at church. When we ate, I sat with my friends, Olivia, Rachel, and Kelly. I also sat with my mom. We just got home from church. Well, that was mostly my day, so. . . . . . . . . . .

Today's Happenings........

Today was a FUN day!!! First I woke up, of course, then I played in my room for a little bit, I then remembered I had to take Annie outside and feed Lucy. So after I did that, I started playing outside for about two hours, then I ran inside and ate lunch. I decided I wanted to go back outside, so I grabbed a couple of things and headed out. When I got out there, my neighbor, Kamra wanted to play. By the way, Kamra's ten. We started playing and soon Coley started playing too. First, we jumped on the trampoline, then we got down and played capture the flag, but I didn't want to play, so I did a video of it. If you look at my brothers youtube channel, you will see it. We called it worldwide international capture the flag. After that we did two more videos, then jumped on the trampoline some more. Soon, it started raining, and we went under their deck and started playing telephone pictionary. That was fun!! The rest of it was mostly rain, though we did run in the rain some. I just got inside from the rain, and their house. Well, that

was my day, and daddy is fixing grits for supper so, gonna go get ready to eat! YUM!!!

Rainy Days. . . . . .

Rainy Days can be fun, it's just no playing outside. But, you can do things inside. I haven't done anything inside yet, or I would tell you about it. The reason it because I was because I was at a homeschool co-op, called Summit. It's like a school, but it only has a couple of subjects, and some other subjects, like I have musical theater. All of the subjects that I have there are geography,
science, musical theater, piano, and writing. I have it every Thursdays. Well, to get back to the subject of my blog, the titles called rainy days. Well, it's raining today! The main things people do on rainy days, is do stuff inside like, play dress up, play with toys, draw, write, and more things too. They'll keep you busy, but you can get bored. I like rainy days, but I love playing outside.

Valentine's!!

Happy day late Valentine's!!!! I had a wonderful Valentine's yesterday.
First I did school then I went to my musical theater (O.Y.P.) like every Tuesday, and then me Coley and my Mom went home and cleaned up the house for our church mens meeting tonight. After that, I played outside in a fort I made, and helped around the yard. Then after that
came yummy Papa Johns Pizza!!! YUM!!!! So that was most of my day.

This morning I woke up and did school, and got done early. After that I went outside, and
brang my dog Annie along with me. We ran around and played. (sometimes just I played)
It was a good thing Annie was on a leash though, because someone walked by the road, and she
started barking. I calmed her down pretty soon though. After that, I came inside and gave Zac
and Annie both a bath, so they smell good now, then I ate lunch, and played outside some more.
Jess soon got home, and I helped her with some stuff outside. Then we went out to eat a late
Valentine's supper at Heirloom Market and Cafe`. It was Yummy!!! Well, that was my day!
Gotta go get ready for bed, so. . . . . . .

Dogs

I love dogs! They're my favorite animal, and I mean favorite!! I really love yorkies, shetland sheep dogs, and corgis!!!

Annie, my dog is 4 1/4. She is so sweet!! Zac is 5 1/4, and he is a barker!! He can still be sweet though. They are both inside dogs. Lucy is our outside dog, and she is 11. Though she is a guard dog, she's very sweet and kind. All of our dogs are sweet, once they get to know you. Zac was just being very playful, because I let them out of their crate, since they were dry from their bath earlier that I gave them,and Zac started running in circles, and all around our bonus room. It was so funny! Annie was getting kind of annoyed though.

Well, theirs what type of dogs we have!

Today

Hello! Today was a great day. I spent most of the day with my sister Jess. She is the BEST sister in the whole world! Anyway, this morning we woke up and we were the only ones up so, Jess made us some warm tea with whip cream and strawberries! YUM!!! While we drank the tea, we started a notebook of poems. Here is one of them that I wrote.

Sunflowers

Sparkling in the sunlight,
Flowing in the wind,
There stands a tall, sturdy sunflower.
It takes in all the laughter
That runs throughout the meadow.
I've never seen anything so beautiful,
So charming.
It stays alive all autmn long,
Until the terrible winter, starts to bring it along.
Sparkling in the sunlight,
Flowing along with the wind.

Saturdays

Saturdays our my favorite day of the week, besides Wednesday. Not only do I not have any school

but I get to spend time with my family, play with neighbors, and play outside.

Tonight, me and my daddy are going to daddy daughter date night at Chick-Fil-A. I love my Daddy so much! Well back to Saturdays, the best Saturdays are on a sunny, warm, and a little windy day. Here is a Saturday poem that I Wrote. Hope you enjoy my poem!

Saturday

Whoosh! The wind flew by

The sound of laughter and a cry

Came from the house upon the hill

For the mother that lived there was named Jill.

Saturday sun came out to play

While others in the barn worked with hay.

Dogs barked, birds chirped,

For everyone was at work.

When work was done, the children played,

Until the sun set came and made it's ray.

Then they knew it was time,

To go inside and sing a rhyme.

After that, the children got ready for bed,

And the parents stayed up late, instead.

The sun went down, and the moon came up,

For now was the time for the Saturday moon to shine.
